Chennai: Sun Riser Hyderabad suffered its fifth consecutive defeat in Chennai. Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Hyderabad by six runs in their second match of the IPL. In the match, RCB batted first and scored 149 runs for the loss of eight wickets. In response, Hyderabad lost nine wickets and scored only 143 runs. This is Hyderabad's second consecutive defeat. Washington Sundar scored eight runs and Kyle Jameson scored 12 runs.
For Hyderabad, Jason Holder took three wickets for 30 runs in four overs while league spinner Rashid Khan took two wickets for just 18 runs in four overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shahbaz Nadeem and T Nitrajan took one wicket each.
