The Big Bash League introduced new rules called Power Play Rules, X Factor and Bos Boost.
According to the new Big Bash rule, the power play in the T20 league ends after 6 overs, but under the new law, the power play will be 4 overs at the beginning of the innings, while the batting team batting at any time after the 11th over of the innings. Will be able to take the remaining 2 overs with the team.
Similarly, in the first 10 overs of the first innings, each team will have the opportunity to be included in the 12th or 13th player in their playing XI. As such, if a bowler is injured in the early overs of an innings, he cannot be replaced immediately.
Four points will now be available to win a match in Bash Boost Law, three points will be for victory while the team will be given one extra point. This extra point will be given in case the team that is ahead in the target over 10 overs will be given this one extra point.
